OUR STORY

For many years, co-owners Chef Michael Garcia and Jessica Garcia maintained their full-time employment—Michael as a Sales Rep for a specialty food company and Jessica as a Bank Manager. Michael eventually realized that he’s happiest when he’s cooking for family and friends, especially his four sons. Michael and Jessica decided to take a leap with a huge risk and go on a culinary venture together. They sold their house and used those funds to finance their future. In the fall of 2019, West Coast Cheesesteaks opened in the city of Glendora, CA, on Route 66; a Los Angeles suburb nestled against the beautiful San Gabriel Mountains.

Owners Michael and Jessica created West Coast Cheesesteaks to celebrate their love for the American Classic Cheesesteak with a re-imagined West Coast twist! Chef Michael, a Le Cordon Bleu alum along with his wife Jessica, created the menu and restaurant concept. Our community, food quality, and exceptional service are the foundation of our restaurant. We care about our food and take pride in serving our customers only the best at West Coast Cheesesteaks. That’s why we serve only Certified Angus Beef. Our artisan bread is delivered daily. To complement the perfect West Coast Cheesesteaks, we start each morning off by making our own specialty cheese sauces that are 100% original and fresh. Choose from our Cheddar, Poblano, or Chipotle cheese.
